3 squared design: Website development
Client
This particular project was a personal one which I developed while I was considering starting a website design agency.
Challenge
I wanted to produce a design with branding that puts fourth the image of a corporate design studio which is organised, trustworthy and reliable.
Also required based on the layout required, I wanted a logo which will be used in the header section of the website design.
Solution
The colour blue was the main colour in use, which I chose because it symbolises trust, faith and truth due to its calming effect, plus the colour blue is also linked to consciousness, intellect and precision, which makes it ideal for promoting technology orientated services.
The background I decided should be dark because it adds balance to the design by creating contrast between the overall light content.
I developed the company name and logo based on a metaphor of thinking outside the box
. A 3D cube will have three visible parts to it, which will be some form of square (whether perfectly shaped or squashed more into a diamond shape). Keeping the concept of thinking outside the box
in mind, I developed a logo with 3 squares that loosely resembles a thought bubble.
